We want to encourage intergenerational collaboration and mentorship by hosting local artists in our classrooms. Sign up for a class to visit and spend the morning talking to students about art making and sharing your talents and inspirations!
Classes take place Friday’s at the Gardner Pilot Academy in Allston from 8:30am - 9:30 am.
Can’t make it to class?
We are always looking for artist volunteers to help with fundraising and program development. We need your help to promote community engagement through art. If you have a community based project to share with ARCK students, let us know!
We are always taking donnations of unwanted art supplies.
Artists that volunteer for ARCK recieve advertisement on our promotional materials and through our website.

ARCK offers internship opportunities for current students.
- Shadow ARCK teaching artists in the classroom
- Help students throughout the art making process
- Learn teaching and behavior management skills
- Engage with students through our curriculum’s focus on culture and community
- Help students find creative outlets and examine academic interest through art
PR and Program Development:
- Design promotional material such as flyers and posters
- Promote ARCK through social media, website, and blog updates
- Document ARCK in action by photographing classes, events, and fundraisers
